We stopped here on our journey south, and we were glad we did. Nice cozy place with a full bar. I think the lemon pepper fish fingers is the way to go! My buddy had a redfish sandwich that he really liked. I would definitely stop here again.
This was our 1st time to the Live Oak location and we enjoyed the same great food, service and atmosphere as we did in Branford. We always enjoy some great food and service when going to the Gathering. Love the atmosphere at the location. We will definitely be back.
The dining experience was exceptional! The white fish was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout the meal. The atmosphere was peaceful and conducive to a relaxing dining experience. The salad was a standout, bursting with fresh flavors that made it impossible to resist devouring it before snapping a picture. Upon entering it was a very pleasant clean atmosphere!! The hostess greeted me with a smile! I was seated quickly and my drink order was taken in a timely manner! The bartender was very pleasant and also took my food order!! The salad was fresh with seasoned homemade croutons!! Blackened shrimp and fried potatoes were seasoned perfectly!!
I recently visited the Live Oak Gathering at 1401 Ohio Ave N, in Live Oak, FL. I sat at the counter and my drink order was promptly taken. I ordered a chicken wrap and it was very good. With the bartender and a couple of guys sitting at the bar, a good conversation happened. I look forward to getting back there to try more menu selections.
The Gathering is one of the best places to eat in Live Oak! My family and I come here all the time - there's nothing we've tried that wasn't top notch. My personal favorite is the blackened chicken caesar salad, as well as the blackened chicken wrap (with the seasoned fries for both). The servers are awesome - they get you taken care of quickly but in a careful manner. I recommend The Gathering to everybody I talk to about food in Live Oak!
While passing through Live Oak to fuel up, we decided to stop for a bite to eat. Searching Google Maps for local restaurants, we came across "Gathering" and initially thought it was a church. After taking a closer look, we realized it was actually a restaurant—and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. The experience was nothing short of heavenly. We were seated upstairs because the restaurant was busy and there was no seating available downstairs. As the only guests upstairs, it felt like we had our own private dining room. The food was excellent. My wife said the French dip was the best she has had in a very long time. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the service. Our server was polite, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their outstanding service made an already enjoyable meal even better. If you're passing through Live Oak, Gathering is absolutely worth a stop.
Came to stay at White Springs for a Peaceful Getaway. I wanted a Local spot with Amazing Comfort Food... The Live Oak Gathering Delivered! Thank you for a Wonderful Dinner and I will Definitely be Back when I'm in the Area Again.
This was our first visit to the Live Oak Gathering. My husband ordered the 18 piece fried shrimp dinner and I had the 10 piece shrimp, they were cooked to perfection. The garlic potatoes were very good and so was the cole slaw. The tea was perfect with a slice of lemon. We were immediately seated and did not have to wait for a table. We will definitely return the next time we are in the Live Oak area. Thank you.
What a great experience! Trishia was so warm and welcoming. I chose the pot roast, I asked her opinion and she told me it was so good. She was spot on! Pot roast, real mashed potatoes and sauted squash. My partner chose the reuben and was very satisfied. The service is incredible, the food is tasty and if we lived closer we would definitely make this a regular stop. Way to go!
